The Art of Livings YLTP cell , Alipurduar District Celebrated RAKCHHA BANDHAN Utshav inassociation with SSB , Buxa
The Art Livings , YLTP Cell of Alipurduar District , West Bengal take the organssed RAKCHHA BANDHAN Utshav in association with SSB , Buxa on 29th August 2015 . Dil diya hai .....Jan bhi denge ...son was sang by the volunteers of YLTP and SSB . The SSB Jawan are protecting us by given the sacrificing their life in the Jungle very away from home . The Jawan also wants to go home for celebration of RAKHI with their sisters and family but their duty of motherland is first priority . So they unable to present at home during any Celebration . We the YLTP felt they all our brothers who are serving for the protecting of our Land as well as us . We went there and celebrated . We sang the song , dance with them , our sisters offered the RAKHI to them . Its a great celebration . We all enjoyed and felt proud of us as well as our Jawan . Thanks a lots Officer-in-charge of SSB , Buxa .

A Living History of Totopara .... Mr. Dhaniram Toto
Mr. Dhaniram Toto ... a Living History of Toto ..... a Philosopher .... a Poet ..... a Social reformer .... a great personality having full of love to the people of Toto and other . I am very much lucky to be touch with him since long . He make the history by creating Toto Language Script within the 3 month . Now Toto people got their own Script . He create this by using own resources ....... A big Salute and Congratulate to him . On 5th March I meet him at his resident along with Prof. Khin Zaw a Writer and Travellor from Myanmar . Discussed about the Script and other issue . He recites a poem which wrote by him and publish in Dooars Utsav issue . In the last wish in poem he express that if he rebirth then he want to birth again in Totopara mountain & river . He is a employee of Backward Classes Welfare Department , Govt. of West Bengal and posted at Alipurduar . His son is doing M.LIV from North Bengal University . The entire development come in Totopara and the benefit getting by the Toto people are for the initiatives of Mr. Dhaniram Toto . On 6th March we got the opportunity to participate in a marriage ceremony which was so amazing . Still the people of Toto have preserve their tradition . All the Toto people found assembled at the marriage ceremony and enjoyed the marriage . Dhaniram Toto explain about the marriage system . It is a great opportunity to be a part of the marriage ceremony .

Inspiring Youth of Buxa Prikyanka Thapa
Ms. Priyanka Thapa daughter of Late Pushparaj Thapa of Khataline , Baksaduar in Alipurduar district is working as Post Master at Baksaduar Post Office and given the service of people of the 13 nos of village of Buxa Hill Villages . After completion of her education she joined at Post Office and start her challenging job . Still the people of Buxa have depend on food as there are no way to reach vehicle after Santalabari . There are no road transportation . Still have runner who run to reach the letter to the people of the hill . Generally youths have interest not to stay at village and after getting education left the village but Priyanka did just opposite . In the age of internet she stay at her village and providing the best services to the hill people . A Big Salute to Her and I am really proud of her .

BALANCE HABITAT a Workshop on Ethno -Musical Naration on Man & Elephant Relation held on 3rd March 2015 at Chuapara TE Org. by The Art of Living
The Workshop held at Chuapara Staff Club in Alipurduar District , West Bengal , India . Sri Kishor Mukherjee , Senior Faculty , The Art of Living had inaugurate the Workshop by lighting the lamp . The Guests were offered khada by the volunteers on behalf of the organisser . Sri Ashim Bhattacharjee , Faculty , Art of Living from Shillong , Mehgalaya , Sri Arup Guha , Elephant expert & Secretary , NASS Group , Cooch Behar , Smt. Amshi Tham , Pradhan , Chuapara Gram Panchayat , Sri Biren Mahali , Panchayat Samity Member and others guest and voluteer were present the workshop . Mr. Ramkumar Lama welcome the Guest and volunteers . Sri Rajiv Sharma placed the Key note of the Workshop . In his Key note he aware about the initiatives which is highly relevant and it is the high time to think about the conflict between Man and Elephant . Every body should think about it . The youths had participated in the workshop , Ms. Mery Barla make a presentation in Sadri language . As per her the conflict happen due to insufficient of food for elephant in jungle and due to construction of the so many development project the habitat of elephant been destroyed . Sri Azad Bhujel , YLTP block coordinator also make presentation and welcome the youths to come forward in this concern . Sri Arup Guha make his presentation and explain the behavior of elephant . We should protect the elephant . Sri Kishor Mukherjee also make presentation . As per him the people should be take responsible to save the elephant . The Garo folk team had performed the folk dance dedicated to the wildlife . At the end vote of thank given by Ms Pushpa Thapa and the workshop end by singing all the participant the song of WE SHALL OVER COME SOME DAY ..... !!
