BALANCE HABITAT a Workshop on Ethno -Musical Naration on Man & Elephant Relation held on 3rd March 2015 at Chuapara TE Org. by The Art of Living













The Workshop held at Chuapara Staff Club  in Alipurduar District , West Bengal , India . Sri Kishor Mukherjee , Senior Faculty  , The Art of Living had inaugurate the Workshop by lighting the lamp . The Guests were offered khada by the volunteers on behalf of the organisser .  Sri Ashim Bhattacharjee , Faculty , Art of Living from Shillong , Mehgalaya , Sri Arup Guha ,  Elephant expert & Secretary , NASS Group , Cooch Behar , Smt. Amshi Tham , Pradhan , Chuapara Gram Panchayat , Sri Biren Mahali , Panchayat Samity Member and others guest and voluteer were present the workshop . Mr. Ramkumar Lama  welcome the Guest and volunteers . Sri Rajiv Sharma placed the Key note of the Workshop . In his Key note he aware about the initiatives  which is highly relevant and it is the high time to think about the conflict between Man and Elephant . Every body should think about it .  The youths had participated in the workshop , Ms. Mery Barla make a presentation in Sadri language . As per her the conflict happen due to insufficient of food for elephant in jungle and due to construction of the so many development project the habitat of elephant been destroyed .  Sri Azad Bhujel , YLTP block coordinator  also make presentation and welcome the youths to come forward   in this concern . Sri Arup Guha make his presentation and explain the behavior of elephant . We should protect the elephant . Sri Kishor Mukherjee  also make presentation . As per him the people should be take responsible to save the elephant . The Garo folk team had performed the folk dance dedicated to the wildlife . At the end vote of thank given by Ms Pushpa Thapa and the workshop end by singing all the participant  the song of WE SHALL OVER COME SOME DAY ..... !!
